What is EUVD-Alert?
EUVD-Alert is a personal project developed by cybersecurity expert Julien Mousqueton to automatically monitor and receive alerts on new vulnerabilities from the ENISA Vulnerability Database (EUVD).
The tool fetches newly published CVEs and, based on customizable filters such as vendor names and CVSS severity, delivers real-time email alerts for critical or relevant vulnerabilities.
In addition to real-time alerts, EUVD-Alert also generates:
- A daily HTML report summarizing all vulnerabilities that match the selected filters.
- A monthly matrix-style summary showing the distribution of vulnerabilities by vendor and severity level.
By combining real-time detection, targeted notifications, and automated reporting, EUVD-Alert streamlines vulnerability tracking and enhances situational awareness for security teams and professionals.
Key features
✅ Real-time alerting for critical CVEs (customizable)
✅ Daily summary with vendor & severity breakdown
✅ Email reports with HTML tables and radar charts
✅ Vendor-based filtering (customizable)
✅ Full responsive web table with Excel format export feature
✅ Fully customizable
Why EUVD-Alert?
The EUVD-Alert project was initiated in response to the challenges and uncertainties surrounding the MITRE NVD database, which is a widely used source for vulnerability data. Concerns about the reliability and funding of the NVD led to a search for alternative solutions that could provide timely and structured vulnerability information.

Vulnerability reports
Daily report
The daily report provides an overview of all CVEs published on a given day, including severity, vendor, and more. It includes interactive features such as searchable tables and radar charts.
Monthly report
The monthly report aggregates all vulnerabilities across the month and displays a matrix of vendors vs. CVSS severity levels. This helps identify trends and vendor exposure levels.
EUVD Browser

EUVD Browser is a lightweight, interactive terminal application to explore, search, and analyze European vulnerability data quickly and efficiently.
Sources
ENISA: Vulnerability Database
ENISA Vulnerability Database is our primary data source. This ensures that the reported vulnerabilities are up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with European cybersecurity standards.
FIRST: Exploit Prediction Scoring System
This site uses data from the Exploit Prediction Scoring System (EPSS)
by FIRST.org, which estimates the likelihood a vulnerability will be exploited in the wild.
EPSS helps prioritize vulnerabilities based on real-world risk, not just severity.
